About

Dr. Christi Wallace, a native of Tucson, Arizona, developed a passion for medicine at the age of six, inspired by her pediatrician, Dr. LaBelle. She pursued a double major in marketing and business management at the University of Arizona then decided to take a break before medical school to enjoy her youth without significant responsibilities. During this period, she resided in southern California, where she met her best friend and husband, Matt.

Following her undergraduate education, Christi attended Ross University School of Medicine and subsequently completed her residency in Fort Wayne. Recognizing the ideal environment for raising their two children, Matt and Christi settled in the Fort Wayne area.

Christi’s professional journey encompasses a diverse range of healthcare settings, including occupational health, urgent care, hospice, and primary care. She has had the privilege of working with patients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals of various religious affiliations, law enforcement personnel, educators, members of the LGBTQ+ community and those affected by substance abuse.

Christi firmly believes in the accessibility of healthcare for all individuals. She creates a judgment-free environment within her practice, treating each patient as a valued member of her family. She advocates for shared medical decision-making, recognizing that patients are the ultimate decision-makers regarding their own bodies and lives. Christi’s primary objective is to guide her patients towards a long, fulfilling and healthy existence.

After over a decade of experience in a traditional insurance-driven healthcare setting, Christi reached a pivotal moment. She became disillusioned with the constant pressure to prioritize patient volume over quality care, the reduced time allocated for each visit, and the excessive demands placed on her to engage in time-consuming administrative tasks to satisfy insurance requirements. Christi envisioned a healthcare system where insurance companies were eliminated from the equation, allowing her to provide personalized care to her patients without compromising her commitment to their well-being. She is ardent in advocating for the benefits of direct primary care, which have been demonstrated to enhance patient outcomes and significantly reduce costs for patients, their families and employers.
